Being a sports advocate both on and off the court (the volleyball court, that is....), I am very excited that I have just committed to my second coaching job! I love it, love it love it! Hooray jolly jay! This time, I am the assistant coach, and this is just fine by me! Anand (anan-nan-nan-nan) and I will be coaching girls 16s club volleyball, and it should be a blast. Of course I did not realize the commitment started this weekend and I am booked for the next 3 weekends straight... doh! Practices are going to be 9:30-12pm every Saturday in Tewksbury, MA. This weekend I already committed to going to Foxwoods with my poker buddies (1/7) (ALL-IN!). Next weekend I am away skiing with friends in North Conway (1/13-1/15), another miss, whoops! Then, as a new assistant coach for the junior olympic program, I am required to take the IMPACT Coaches Training Program on Saturday 1/21 (another miss of practice!). And then! The last Saturday of this month I am playing in a co-ed tournament sponsoring two of the girls from Natick High School where I coached from Aug-Oct 2005. My head coach is going to kill me!! He knows about this weekend and that was fine, next weekend he knows that I have to take the certification program so I got a "good job" sticker for the forehead and that is okay. But he doesn't know about that last Saturday where I have been planning this tournament for over 2 months now! Geez, it sucks being so g'damn popular and busy all the time! lol
NOT!
