My good friend Tex took me to see the Bruins opener tonight at the "new" old Boston Garden for my birthday. Boston had a losing kind of night... Bruins lost with 11 seconds left in regulation.... Red Sox gave away another game to the White Sox... And I cannot even bring myself to discuss the fiasco at Gillette Stadium last Sunday without feeling the need to vomit. This is what happens when you come from a place that "hires" champions... Everyone hates losing, but it is that much worse when you actually expect to win all the time, just cuz!!!
And if you are Bill Belicheck and you happen to stumble across this web page via some random Google Search... I have a message for you concerning the start of the season for the now 2-2 Pats.... SNAP OUT OF IT!!!

Live, from the MLD News Desk, feline correspondents Pacino and Bubba keep a restful eye on the progress of the first big storm in Boston, this day of February 11th, 2006.
While Mama is busy cleaning and buffing the hardwood floors, the dynamic duo pitifully watch the poor news reporter who is windblown and covered with snow. The kitties are thinking that she needs to get their gig of reporting on the storm track while laying down on a quilt, outstretched in a horizontal position. The cats are pretending to be interested in all the hype. (Mama wishes they got a paycheck for their storm reporting but she will settle for their unconditional love instead.) 
Correspondent "Chino", the domestic aristocat, showed no fear while he courageously stuck his head in the pile of snow that blew in from the deck. Pacino was emulating the News 7 Correspondent getting right into the thick of things. Female correspondent, Miss Bubba watches her male counterpart and thinks, what an idiot....
